What I remember from last night meeting with Enercan:
1. Each unit has 2 meters , and they cost to maintain monthly $7.
75 each and the $15.50 cost is included in the Delivery Charge, no
matter if the meter is in use or not (like during the summer).
2. The reps wouldn't respond to the challenge of breaking down
in items the (huge) delivery charge, and they just pointed to various
resources like their website and hydro website to find out more detail.
At least this is what I understood.
3. They mentioned something of a cost of (I don't remember
exactly the number but something like) $2.8/KW that I didn't
understand and I don't know to what they referred to. Maybe the
people who stayed later after the meeting have now a better
understanding and can explain to us what it is.
4. Even if we have two meters we only get a quota of 1000KW/moth
at the lowest price per KW and not 2000 KW/month as it should be
normal (i.e. 1000 KW per meter). This is like your family is leasing
two cars and the leasing company limits you to 20,000 KM combined
for both cars before they start charging you at the end of leas for
each extra KM you put on any of the cars, instead of 20,000 KM per
car per leas term as they actually do. This must be fixed by the board
/management. The difference will not be huge, so I don't know why
they would not want to go for it.
5. The several thousand dollars you owe and that have been
accumulated in bills over the last 8 months can be paid without
penalty throughout the next six month, but the newly issues bills
from now on must be paid in 30 days.
