This blog is not in anyways related to the Property Management Company of YCC 244 (PMC) , nor to the Board of Directors (BOD).Both PMC and BOD are welcome to check the blog frequently (maybe on daily basis), to take note of the issues, to post replies or to make announcements for the residents.

There is a serious issue to be dealt with by the board . the Lawyer clearly stated at the meeting that the law is the law...in essence he is saying that Nancy is breaking the law by remaining on the board....If this board sits and has Nancy on the board they will be breaking the Law as she is " by law " no longer a member of the board. This a dilemma for Bob,Dan,Seamus,and Mona. If you allow Nancy to take part in any meeting as a sitting member all of you are breaking the law.

    Please have Management arrange a meeting with the NEW board and discuss the problem ..He seemed very evasive last night and did not want to openly answer the question....I believe he should have, and he seemed to be avoiding it ...Why??? Are we back to the begining again...Just a thought...If this board sits and knowing breaks the Law ...( and the lawyer said the law is the law )and this matter should esclate to the courts only those who oppose Nancy's being on the board would be covered under the Corp. lawyer all others would have to pay for there own lawyer and may possibley be removed by the courts for doing so.. Please people ...solve this quickly...obey the law and consult the Lawyer and get a quick straight forward answer..

    The 5th position of our board of directors needs to be address

    Nancy volunteers her time for the community and from the point that was brought up last night, that she was elected to the board by being the next in line of the votes after the previous 2 members quit is interesting. Then in a letter she was address to the community as being Appointed to the board. So what is it? This should have been address by the lawyer last night, but it wasn't. Why are we paying for him to be our lawyer if he doesn't answer our questions regarding board member issues? Is that part of his job or not?

    If the board position of Nancy was elected then fine, if she was appointed by the board then that position is now open.

    I only see this as a deadlock with the board dealing directly with this. If this is the case, another election is in the making.

  3. Was Dan elected by TAFT?

    The result for Dan Hu, Sai bei Fang and Jing guo Sun was doubtful. These three were in the same flyer. How many of you owners gave your proxy to them.

    Think about TAFT's registration and election prosedure at our AGM.

  4. WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE START A NEW BLOG AND HAVE AS MANY PEOPLE REGISTER AT THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS THIS IS EXTERMELY IMPORTANT BECAUSE THEY ARE HIDING BEHIND THE LAW BECAUSE THE CORP. LAWYER DID NOT AND WOULD NOT TELL THEM THAT THEY WERE BREAKING THE LAW. THEY ARE HIDING BEHIND BEHIND THIS BECAUSE OUR LAWYER DID NOT TELL THEM THAT THEY WERE BREAKING THE LAW.   5. Does anyone know Steve well enough to go to him for help in this matter???? (unit 71) if anyone can help remove this(these) person
    (s) that are openly breaking the law and laughing at us he can. If you people are truley interested in having an HONEST BOARD please voice your opinion..

  6. There were no winners only losers and they are this community. the previous board (Catherines) broke the law on numerous occasions and we are worst off because of it. And now a board with Nancy, bob, and Dan have openly broken the law and have told you they don't care. When things go wrong we have no one to blame only ourselves for what happens. Many of us came from countries where we were oppresed and had no say in what went on, here we have these rights given to us and we do nothing to protect them. We came here from different cultures and different backgrounds to a place where we can have a say in what happens, yet we sit here and DO NOTHING while someone breaks the law in our own community where we CAN and SHOULD do something yet we do nothing. SHAME ON US!! What will they do next? A committe should be formed to take back our rights and force those who (BOB, DAN AND NANCY)who have openly defied the law.

    why it is so difficult to follow the law? if she wants to be in the board again, she can ask owner to voter for her. everyone will appreciate that she is willing to volunteer her time to be on the board. but why don't just simply follow the law? if the law is not been followed, so where is the trust?
