This blog has been set up with the intention of giving anyone at Woodbrooke Estates a chance to bring up any issues they may encounter and to give a chance to the property management company to resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
This blog is not in anyways related to the Property Management Company of YCC 244 (PMC) , nor to the Board of Directors (BOD).Both PMC and BOD are welcome to check the blog frequently (maybe on daily basis), to take note of the issues, to post replies or to make announcements for the residents.

ReplyDeleteI did not even understand why Nancy ran for the Board as she broke the law and cost owners' money to have such a meeting. She looks educated, but she does not deserve my respect for what she did.
Or maybe Bob and Dan Hu wanted her to stay, then they could control the board as they did before and close everything from owners.
Honestly I like the presentation of Harry's at the meeting. I am a new owner. I don't know if any old owners saw such a lovely presentation, The fliped 5 page drawings clearly told me the Normal Hierarchy in Condominium; Reality of YCC244; Future of YCC244; Our Home. I was moved at the moment when I saw "Our Home". Yes it is. It is OUR HOME.
ReplyDeleteI really felt sad when I saw the SAD REALITY and I prayed to God to help Harry get the position and fullfill our owners' expectation and make OUR HOME better and better.
I felt sad too at that moment when I saw the SAD REALITY. It was extremly ridiculous that we were living in such a situation. Whoever made this terrible mess must be removed from the board and never be elected

I could tell owners' feeling from the election: Harry 77votes, Nancy got only 31votes, inculding many votes got by lying.
It seems yes. I also need to check. I want to attend to know the facts.I got a letter from Taft saying I have outstanding fee. I submitted my check and got the signed copy from the office.

Does anybody think Bob and Dan will show up in the Requisition Meeting on Fe. 16, 2011?
ReplyDeleteI,m would like to know who is running for their positions. Is,nt ususl that we know who is running for these positions before the meeting. It was done before. Can the Board or Management inform us of this.
ReplyDeleteI personally think that now that we have a new Board with a majority in place and Bob and Dan can nolonger control the board that they should stay.
ReplyDeleteWe do not want a repeat ofthe last board where they did as they pleased.
There must be checks and balances and having the board the way it is to me is fine.
PLEASE DO NOT FORGET that this summer we will (by law) have an AGM and electionwill be held at that time for vacant positions. If we do not like what these people do they can be replaced at that time.
Only six months until that time.
Lets see what they can do.
Good idea!!! They can sit at meetings while the new Board discusses what Lawyer they will hire to charge them and ALL responsible for wrongs that have been done against this community and individual owners that have had had improper work done especially some with mould that was not fixed properly and is still endangering peoples health.

After the election, a board meeting was held with several owners staying on to watch and ask questions. The first motion was to make harry secretary, the second motion was to make seamas president and many motions after that a motion was placed to reduce the maintenance fee by 22%. What was bob thinking? He stated that within 6 months, the condo would be $100,000 in the deficit if they want to reduce it 30%, he stated that the condo is in a very good financial position, is that because we are currently overpaying our condo? The budget needs to be checked, the reserve fund needs to be checked and a proper assessment needs to be done to give us a proper adjustment to our condo fees!

Does the contract with Taft Management have a statement for how many times Justin can come to the condo in a month which is included in the contract, say 4 times a month?
Why is it proposed in the new budget that we pay Taft $350 extra a month for Justin's transportation?
If we pay money To Taft For Justin's transportation then we HAVE THE RIGHT to have him check in with our administrator in or office EVERY time he is on site and CHECK out with he when he leaves. That way we will know that we are getting what we are paying for. The board can demand this as Taft is OUR employee and we should know that they are doing their job and are here to see that work is being done to proper standard and codes. We seldom see him here and we are paying Taft to be here to see things are running properly.
ReplyDeleteThe girl in our office is an administrator hired by the condo and is NOT responsible for doing work that Taft has been hired to do.
If this board will do there job they should demand that we know when JUSTIN is here and he Must check in and out with our administrator.
